After much discussion on how and why some books are
banned, Mrs. Conley's A.P. Language and Composition class recently created
"Banned Book Week" posters and placed them around the school to
educate their fellow school mates on the fact that many of their "favorite"
books have, at one time or another, been placed on a banned book list.
Students were encouraged to engage their fellow schoolmates in discussion about
the harmful effects of banning a book from a public library, school library, or
any public place where citizens are allowed to borrow and read books.
